Members information

To become a member to WNC Brain Tumor Support, all you have to do is call or e-mail leaving your e-mail address for phone number. You will be contacted. If you attend one of our meetings, our secretary will get your name and e-mail address so that you will be on our membership list.

Do I have to have a brain tumor to join?
No. And your family or caregiver can join as well.

There are no dues. If you have had a brain tumor, you have already paid your dues!

It is not a requirement, but if we show that we are a bona fide, strong group, it is easier to obtain sponsorship.

Does WNC Brain Tumor Support have a governing body?
Yes. WNC BTS consists of a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. It also consists of a media coordinator, website manager, A/V technician, chaplain and hospitality coordinator.

Do you still meet when there is inclement weather?
The following procedure will be observed for inclement weather conditions for
WNC Brain Tumor Support functions. We will go by A-B Tech. night class policy.
Announcements concerning WNC BTS (A-B Tech) will be made by 3:30 pm on local radio and TV stations for night classes. A voice mail message will be recorded on the switchboard.
Commuters should exercise personal judgment concerning highway conditions regardless of A-B College announcements, particularly those commuting from outlying areas.

Meetings are open to everyone with an interest in brain tumors. Meet survivors, caregivers, family members and providers to share experiences and good times!!
WNC BTS meetings are held the third Thursday of every month, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., with refreshments starting at 6:15 p.m.

** From I-40 Eastbound, take Exit 50 and turn left onto Hendersonville Road. (Biltmore Ave.)
From I-40 Westbound, take Exit 50B and merge onto Hendersonville Road. (Biltmore Ave.)

At the first light, turn left into the Double Tree Hotel (Or Friday's Restaurant). Turn left towards the Sleep Inn. Just before the Sleep Inn turn right and go up the hill to the MAHEC Biltmore Campus. #121
